The Horseman's Halter is hand tied, and the knots are balanced in strategic places. The loop for attaching lines hangs below the jaw and acts as a hinge. The halter is made of a high quality, soft yachting rope that offers the ultimate in softness and strength.

As a general rule halters and hackamore's will fit the following size & breeds:

Foal: miniatures under 34", Falabella.

Pony: (11hh-13.3hh) Fell pony, Highland pony, Icelandic, New Forest pony, Shetland, Welsh, Cob.

Arab: (13hh) Petite Egyptian Arabs with a tea-cup nose, Quarter horse-size yearlings. Note: The circumference of the nose piece is approx. 19".

If your horse's nose is larger than your fist, a Standard halter is recommended.

Standard: (14hh-15.3hh) Quarter horse, Thoroughbred, Paint, Australian stock horse, Paso Fino, Mustang, Lusitano, Saddlebred, Most Arabs (includes Polish & Russian Arabs)

Warmblood (Large): (16hh-18hh) Trakehner, Dutch Warmblood, Selle Francais, Fresian, Hanoverian, Holsteiner, Oldenburg, Irish Draught, Lipizzan, Warmblood Crosses (except Draft)
